Cone-beam computed tomography

High-resolution and low-radiation imaging for the nose and ears.

Your doctor has recommended you a CBCT. The procedure provides important information for the diagnosis and subsequent therapy. It has many advantages over computed tomography or MRI.

Better resolution, more information
The CBCT takes the structures of the skull (as opposed to the CT) in one piece as a volume. This results in a higher resolution that represents even the tiniest of structures, such as the stirrup or the olfactory cleft, almost as accurately as a microscope. This allows the doctor to better diagnose and plan the therapy. Even the patient can quickly recognize this information and understand it with a little help from the doctor.

Lower radiation exposure
Due to the technology, the dose of X-ray radiation used in the CBCT is lower with comparable or better image quality than in the most modern CT devices.

Faster recording, immediate availability, less expensive
A full CBCT only takes 20 seconds. The examination is performed while sitting. Since the CBCT is installed on site, the investigation can be carried out immediately. Transfer, waiting time and resubmission can be omitted.

Evaluation by the ENT specialist
The CBCT is evaluated by the ENT specialist who can relate the information to the patient's other findings. In addition, the data is evaluated by a specially trained specialist with the certification for X-ray examination and diagnosis. At least 2 expert opinions are available.

Are there any disadvantages?
No medical disadvantages. The procedure is superior to other methods for the frequent questions of ENT.

Package CRS
In this package, all paid-up examinations according to the manual "Chronic Rhinosinusitis" amounting to 235 euros are combined at a special price of 195 euros. This saves you money with the best treatment quality.
